OK Bals gib nailed it....The inventor was Omer Immell...The lure was The Chippewa. ...The Company was the Immell Bait Company in Blair , Wisconsin. They produced these lures for just a couple years. I mentioned that the example that I looked at had 2 double hooks under the belly and a single hook on the tail....we after looking at more pictures there were several different sizes and configrations...Some had a double hook on the tail...some had a treble hook, some had a treble with a bucktail, and some just a single hook. Anyway lots of different hook set ups.
