I have used 4# test since it first came out. I love the stuff.
I fished with 2# and 1# test NanoFil for 18 months straight when it first came out. That was back when I still fished 5 days a week. Lost count of the number of smallmouth....crappie...Gills, and trout I caught using the line. When fishing Center Hill Lake I used an 8 foot section of FC leader with it. The nature of the lake bottom being shale rock a long leader was required with the line. I quit fishing it as using a 1/64 ounce jig with braid it is extremely hard to get a micro jig down deep with that line. Two pound test breaks at over 4 pounds......and the other ratings break way above their rating.....as the vast majority of US market lines do. I never had any issues with wind knots and I always used a leader with it. I never really tied direct to the jig so I can’t speak to that. One of the first videos I posted on my YouTube channel was of a great day catching shell cracker using an old spool of 1# test NanoFil I had left that had been on my shelf for years. I used that spool for a few months during the spring of 2018 then I took it off and have not used it since. Sensitivity of course is great. All braid has issues with abrasion resistance but NanoFil has to be at the very bottom of that list. Since the line does not sink it can be tough fishing it on a windy day.

Been running the same spool of 6lb nano for about 18 months now.
The biggest drawbacks are knots and abrasion resistance, as mentioned. I use a ~10ft leader of whatever 4-6lb mono I have on hand, joined with a double albright knot. It's much easier to tie, adds a little stretch, and will hold up better to abrasion.
I have caught loads of crappie, some nice walleye, and many drum (some approaching 5lbs) on that setup. Every few months I have to strip about 50ft of nano off the spool, as it starts to break when tying the leader knot. I don't know if UV gets it, or abrasion from running through the guides causes it to weaken, but it does.
I keep telling myself that I'm going to change it out, but it just keeps hanging in there so I figure I'll run it until there's not enough left on the spool.
