most of the boys that fish lake Fork all go to lake of the pines starting right about now .
with herds of fish over 2 lbs and in numbers its the place to go .
you might consider that , I know Todd made his first visit there recently .
that said I think Fork is in transition right now and the fish are somewhat scattered .
I will call a few folks and see what I can find out

Lake of the Pines yearly slab festival , real well known in Texas , lots of real big slabs ready to go home with whoever goes out there to chase them . bumper boat syndrome sometimes though .
Careful on the regs on fork and I think pines as well . I am pretty sure the first 25 no matter the size HAVE to be kept ….
might check on that to be safe but it is a law on the books and starts around dec. 1
