Bison was a great color recommendation from Alphahawk. It was a killer for me this summer. I’ll be picking up some more and sowbug for the coming season.

Is the bison color only in the panfish?
Where are you all buying them?
    Thanks!

Good Morning! You can get them direct from troutmagnet.com. Push the troutmagnet menu button, trout magnets subsection, page 1 item N11109 for the 50 pack. Buy 50. You’ll need them. They’re the real deal. I’ve had success with every color I have tried!

As was mentioned earlier in this post Bulldog is a great color for bluegill also. I have a lot of colors....mostly to change up when trout fishing. The Sow Bug and Root Beer are new colors and they do very well on bluegill also. Crappie really like the Sow Bug. As one can tell from this pic I do have a favorite color.

The crappie magnet is great for spider rigging on a 1/8 scikle hook tipped with a minnow . I also use without minnow on two poles(we can use 4 , with 2 hooks ). I find tipping the top hooks on two poles and tipping the bottom on the other two shows me quick find out what they prefer . For several years I would have said a curly tail was much better . No more .

Great - the folks at Leland are nice to do business with. I always like to go right to the manufacturer when I can so they get all of their profit. Another plus is they are a small business and being you are out of state no sales tax. Every bit counts! LOL
