70% of fishing is having confidence in what bait you’re using. I’m no believer in these nibbles, but if others are, and they make them more confident in their belief that they are the reasons the fishermen is getting more bites and catching more fish then by all means use them. Myself, I see no need to purchase something that a color change or presentation can’t do just as well.

Only time I don't use them is when the bite is so fast and furious that it's a waste of time to put them on the hook.

Oh, and here's a hint I learned on cdc. Take them out of the jar, separate them, and let them dry a little over night. They'll last longer on the hook and also can help hold minnows on light wire hooks. An added bonus is you house will smell like crappie nibbles!

A new trick for me is to lay my nibbles out, and let dry some, then add Slab Sauce. It does seem to help.
