    I've never been able to get these to stay tight. Probably could have used Locktite on them but gave up after 2 sets worked loose.

    Loctite would likely make those permanent

    They make one that can be removed. I used it on my DF knobs because they kept shaking loose while trailering my boat. After finding them on floor of boat I figured I was going to lose one if I didn't figure a way to keep them tight. The removable kind works perfect. You can still loosen if needed but takes a bit more effort.

    They work fine, don't need locktite, used on more than one boat.
