That fish is almost as big as you are. Thanks for sharing.
Just came across this old photo I thought I had lost to the fire at the Lake Side Tackle Shop in Ozark.
It looks like I caught this fish in 2003. If i remember correctly, it weighed 3.14lb and was caught around Clarksville, AR. I've been trying to catch a bigger one ever since! This is one of a handful of fish that really stuck with me as a kid and got me hooked on fishing.
Thought I'd share this great memory with you guys. This is what gets me out of the house and on the water.

Great picture. Good luck on trying to catch a bigger than that it may take a life time.

Glad you found the old picture. That is definetly a slab - good luck in your search of the next three pounder.

Here's one of me and our old yeller tom cat, Big T. Oh how I loved that old cat! Pic is from 1983.
And here's one of Uncle Bill, holding the big fish and Uncle Doc, standing behind. Doc caught that 3 lb. fish at White Oak Lake near Camden on a shiner. And yes, they filleted him and "stank the grease" with him.
