Nice fish. They don't stop eating - go deep. I found a "plateau" that's holding CNBGs, Redear & Crappie along the deeper sides. The REs & Crappie are post spawn and the Bluegill are Pre & post spawn. The Res are still on the beds here.
Barkley and Kentucky are funny lakes because we don't catch redear outside of the months of April and May. It's too bad, I would like to pattern them in the fall like I used to do in Indiana.

A lot of truth in what Ledhed said. 2 weeks ago I had to get within a foot of the bank for a strike. This week the better fish were out in deeper water, the ends of structure instead of tight inside of it.
I’d take a day with the big crackers like you’re holding anytime. Very nice fish.
