Prayers sent hope you get better soon!
Hmmm. That’s a jacked up foot. Studying the oic though, I’m not all that sure it won’t be jacked up once it heals up. Definitely some serious permanent jacked up-ness right there. In any event, I can definitely understand the snake dying after biting it. Prolly woulda killed pretty much anything that bit it.
Hope you one the mend and back to fishing soon. Just not on mah lake.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Seen the bill yet? Typical bill around 150,000 or so.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can generally count on Paul's vote.
Will keep you in our prayers, hope you have a speedy recovery and ge back to fishing soon!!

I don't know how in the world I missed this thread but I'm so sorry to hear you are going through all that brother. Prayers for complete recovery and that you'll be back on the water and as good as new very soon.
I found a copperhead all backed up in some of my landscaping timbers around my wife's flower beds yesterday. All I could think about is how she's out there pulling weeds and messin' all the time.
She won't have to worry about gettin' bit by that particular copperhead though I can assure you... but since I told her about it she hasn't pulled a single weed or done anything in the flower beds.

Rattle snakes and copperheads???? I guess the cold Michigan winters aren't so bad after all. Only thing that bites you up here is the frost. Take care of that foot and get back to catchin' fish real soon.
The older I get the more I realize the therapeutic benefits of fishing
