Sounds exactly like the pattern we found at the North end. Had to have chartreuse in it and anywhere from 4-6 foot deep. We did have a couple males but they were not very dark.

Fished Crowder and Rock Creek yesterday. No fish on the banks. Minnow fishermen got some, fishing about 4.5 feet under bobbers. Several of us got fish sporadically off the dock at Crowder, mostly on jigs with chartreuse as one of the colors. Most were females. No dark-colored males. Fishing wasn't great, but there were some nice people on the dock.

Driving about 3 hours to fish the big E tomorrow! Any tips would be appreciated. I sure hope the rain doesn't scatter them to much. Were more familiar with the south end but I just want a nice mess if crappie!
I launched at Crowder and fished yesterday by myself. I found very few fish shallow. I went deep and ended up catching my limit in 18-22' of water with the fish suspended 8-12' down. Not a single boat any where close to me as everyone was fishing shallow. 11 males all the females still had eggs. It will be at least a week before I can go again.

So there’s still hardly any fish shallow on Eufaula?
We ended up catching 26 Wednesday and 28 Thursday. Not great for the amount of hours we fished but we got to eat some fresh fillets. We caught them shallow and I didn't hear of anyone else finding fish shallow really.

Flooded water keeping people off the lake? I haven't been able to go in a while.
