Hit Penny Bend this morning. Water still high, and muddy as well. Maybe it will change in the next couple of days. Oh wait it will rain Friday, so that maybe a big NO. The white bass are in there, but water so muddy. Fishing with white roostertail, and also curly tail jig, but did not catch any

Fished PB yesterday in the evening, caught 9 small males(and I mean small, largest 6 inches long). Did not hear or see the white bass spawning. I believe with the high water, they spawned, and are moving back toward the lake. All caught on a small jerkbait on a stop and go retrieve

I also think its about over. I fished the Flat river Sunday with the same results. Handful of small ones. This was by far the worst run I have ever seen.

Went to Penny yesterday, now it is super stained, like a major rain has happened, but no rain. It appears to be some major sewer type work being done off the Eno river by Roxboro Rd. No Fish Caught
