    Default Helix 7 transducer question


    I recently upgraded my transducer on my Helix 7 chirp SI GPS G2N from the compact transducer that comes with the unit to the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T transducer. Do I have to change the settings of the unit to recognize the new transducer or will it do it automatically? Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks
    I haven't had chance use it yet so looking forward to it in couple days

    Look in the "Connected Transducer" Menu under the Sonar tab for a selection "Hi Def Sidescan" ... (I don't think it will be there but check anyway) ...

    If that choice is not a selection - leave it at default (SideScan) ...
