I will be arriving at Stockton Saturday afternoon. Where are you staying at?
I have only been on the lake twice but am headed over the meet my uncle for a weekend of fishing. Looking forward to fishing new waters but mostly just spending time with him. I live in STL and he lives in Joplin so we thought we would meet somewhere in the middle. Any thoughts on where we should start and what the pattern would be? Was hoping when we planned this they would be on the bank and guessing they will be pretty close. We are also going to see if we can catch a couple walleyes as well. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks
Mike

you should be their at the right time, ruark bluff area good spot, just go up sons creek, fish the cuts, or coves along the way, also around chicken rock, that will be east after you go under the bridge, the cove there is good this time of year, B9 cove is good also, a little farther east of the chicken rock. just hit the cuts and back of coves. good luck,

It was a tough weekend at Stockton for us. Friday afternoon we got a few keepers before dark scattered in a cove but that was really it for crappie. All day Saturday fighting the wind and we only caught one keeper but did pick up a few white bass. Sunday morning more wind but cold and not a fish. Had a good time with my uncle which was the most important of the trip.
