Well, there's a lot more structure in the water now. A little bit more and you can just stand under the emergency spill way with a dip net and get your limit.

My wife and I had a little road trip today to check on the camp and to check out the high water. This is South Graysport Landing. Two more feet and the water will be in the parking lot.
Four more ft and it will be over the emergency spillway.
Grenada Landing starts at the edge of the parking lot.
Heres the parking area below the pavilion at Grenada Landing.

With gate open only 3000 and it spread out almost 2 miles across there I wouldn't expect to see much current. It's not like your looking at a stream right now. Cold water just be,ow my house is almost if not out of the banks so still a lot of water that won't be there until Friday and got more coming this week.

Lake over summer level – The Grenada Star
Here's a good article about the history of Grenada Lake flooding. It's dated in 2010 but has some interesting stuff.

Referring to Scott V's post, this is Lakeview in 2010. I was working Security at Horeshoe Casino after retiring, turning around guests at the levee. All Casinos were closed! Now it is Private, but some of you up North knew it well. MS River @ Memphis that year crested @ 54'
