What is considered cold? I would think it would be 55-58 but was hoping for 58-59 here with a few days of warm nights

It’s probably been around that. Temperature isn’t the problem water level is. I’ll go down a check out the temp today and let you know.

Thanks. I’ve been fishing Toledo and around lafayette and haven’t even thought about Larto since last May guess i should of checked water level first. Looks like it’s a steady drop but still pretty high. Thanks again for the response

Water temp by Youngbloods is currently 57°F. By Friday it should be near 60°. It appears that by the 22 it will be rising to about 65°, perfect spawning temp.Originally Posted by black n chartreuse
