I just don't think it would be worth the hour long drive for me. If I lived close by I would probably go and try it in a couple spots for a while.

Just talked to a buddy on the Rez and they are catching them. They aren’t just tearing them up but catching enough to stick with it. I’m going in the morning!
A couple of years ago I went when the current is like it is now. I hit a submerged tree in the middle of the river channel. $5 grand for a new lower unit. Be careful if you go.

Caught 11 today but some folks caught a limits. My first trip of the year and it took a while to get my act together.

Lol, I don't take pics every trip but here is what happened. I got there about 9am and the bite was slow but steady. Lots of small ones biting. Left about 3pm with 20 good feesh all over 11 inches with a few big ole good ones. I heard the early morning bite was awesome. Mississippi Slab and Jay were there early and stayed till late and had a great box of feesh.

I fished for about 4 hours Saturday morning and came home with 15 good fish.
