Get it sunk!

I have access to all the wooden crates I can handle. The crates are 4' high, 3' deep and 6' long. I'm planning to make some brush piles and am kicking around ideas for builds. This is the first. The only horizontal pieces are the bottom. I have 4 sets of up rights with the idea it will cause less snags. Any suggestions?

Use coated or stainless connector (nails or screws ) to last . Looks good , post some after (catch ) photos .

Sink em near or on a ledge and make big clusters tied together.

Nice!
Be safe and good luck fishing
Even with 2 cinder blocks it doesn't sink very fast, it kind of hovers before dropping. I do believe the size I'm leaving them at is a bit much for me to handle by myself so I'm going to scale them down.

That is a problem. Reason I gave up on trying to add structure like that. You get it in the water & it don't sink, you are screwed.
One of my greatest frears is getting wrapped up in my rope used to lower the bucket of concrete.
