What would you guys recommend? I'd like something that isn't bulky but is fairly warm. I tried neoprene gloves when I duck hunted years ago and I didn't like them.

Surgical gloves, wrist bands stuffed with a hand warmer, with a Buddy Heater on the deck.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
I use fleece gloves with no fingertips. Not perfect but they work well for me. BPS used to have them for about $5 a pair.

When you guys says surgical gloves, are you talking about Nitrile gloves? I use to wear those while beekeeping and my hands would sweat something terrible, but granted that was in warm weather.
For many decades now I've relied on rag wool, fingerless gloves. They maintain their warmth, even when wet and I also keep a pair of hand warmers in each front pocket for immediate relief from the cold. If you go this route however, make sure you get gloves that are on the small size.......you need them to cling to your hands and fingers. If they are too loose, you won't wear them.
Crestliner08 - nailed it!!
