    Going fishing does not pay well. Fun though.
    I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
    The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

    Went back out this morning and the bite was slow, only got 6 keepers and not very many dinks.

    You should be guide sounds like you do better than Burton :-)

    I have never had much luck at Smithville. When I see these posts I occasionally get inspired to try harder. Thanks for the encouragement, if it wasn't for the pics I think I would give up and go to Clinton.

    Thank's wolfhnd but don't think I could keep up with Burton. I know how you feel Smithville is frustrating, can't tell you how many times I went out and fished my butt off and no luck, then come back and see a post someone just tore em up. In the fall the crappie really stack up around the bridges and if they are biting so do the boats.
