That's a lot of ingredients. I use a complicated mix, salt and brown sugar. Soak it over night, rinse and string it on wires so it hangs. In the smoker for a couple of hours, you have to keep trying pieces to see when it's done, with hickory smoke. Never had a complaint.

They were not small deer & that was just the Jerky meat, not including the Burger, and Back Straps.

I weighed the Packaging on the wife’s bathroom scales, and those are #Wife Calibrated# & I’m not brave enough to question their accuracy.

When I dropped off the requested roast, burger & Salmon, Aunt Gretchen said I saw one more I want gone, and she is a big one. Uncle Fred just said #Wheres the Jerky, is it done yet#

Sparty dropped off some jerkey and sausage......for a simple quick easy and good tasting jerkey it was a hit!

I’d be happy to do a new taste test on some of OE’s fancy recipe jerkey to compare the two......

I will see what I can do. Skillet has offered up to buy the Crown Royal Maple Whiskey for my Maple Whisky Jerky.

I’ll be making that phone call to him about Friday.

The Family is expecting a large batch of my stuff listed above for the Weekend holiday.

I will have all 4 kids home, so it won’t last long.
