You have a good plan working, anything below 241.5 you will have to use another ramp but thats not a big deal
That is exactly what he said I can take u to grenada and catch nothing or ross barrett and load the boat and that we did....yea 5 months out ain't no telling what the weather or water conditions will be..last couple years we have tried to go to different lakes at least once a year and been lucky and had good luck

I’d head south. Fish can be caught but with cold fronts, it may not get easier. Barnett is on fire though!

All the hot spots have 25' of water on them. Guides are headed north and south. Get on the guides FB pages see who is filling the boxes and hire him for your first day then bump his boat with yours the rest of your vacation.
The Big 4 are higher than they were last year on March 1. Sardis level is already within 3 feet of its highest level last year. They should be really good for single poling but not so much for spider rigging.
Gonna be tuff. I’d look for a guide(I’m booked til may) so you know where to start and he should fill you in on other places to try and places to get out of the wind. Good luck
Well I have called a couple guides and all booked up so we will either just wing it for a week or we may change plans and go to another lake if we can find somewhere to stay...thanks for the info
