Are you catching keepers? My last two trips over there, I've loaded up on shorts - about 8" - with only a few that measure.
Good report

Nice job! Thanks for the report
Looks like a good mess to me
My dad is gonna try arrowhead creek (where the creek meets the river and has all those lay downs) today.....I'll let ya'll know how he does. If the weather holds out i think we are going to try Shoal Creek (next to the low side of G'ville Dam) tomorrow. That's one of my favorite places to fish, but i just haven't been there in a very long time.

Anyone have any idea how muddy that thing will be after the rain we got yesterday? I have bass fished it a few times in the past, but was thing about trying the crappie out in there this weekend?

As dry as the land is, I doubt this soft rain will make it to the water table. Bay is dingy, or stained as the country boys say, but the creek channels are a bit more clear and clean. I'm thinking of trying it myself. A number of people are fishing the blow downs in the channel, but I don't know how successful they are.
Thanks for the info, cant decide to give limestone a try or drive way over to cedar creek in Frankiln co. Been fishing Wilson lake but man, its been tough. For me anyways. Lol

Friends say Bear Creek, out of Haleyville is on fire, and I want to try there next week. Don't know about Cedar Creek, but it has a good reputation for crappie.
