    Ya there heavy but I think there worth it. I love cooking with my cast iron.

    I like mine. I use it mostly in winter because I still heat my home with an old wood burning stove and can cook on top of it. I also use it at deer camp. Before back trouble the weight was nothing to me. Now I complain when I have to lift it especially if it is full.

    I understand what your saying I have an inoperable herniated disc and sometimes I have as hard time just standing up. Just do what you can do and enjoy life to the best of your ability.
