I was in the tire business for 35yrs and always told my customers to balance them and keep them inflated to max!! They were happy with the results and thanked me!!

I too was in the tire business. If the customer requested to have them balanced, we did. However the only justification for it was to make them happy.

Ima in the tire business too. I refuse to surrender my 4 wheelers, my lawn mowers, my boats, my haul trailers, my cars, my trucks, and etc. Like many folks, I have 2+ of everything cept wives. 1 is enough.

I will Balance mine always. Tire bounce not only causes excessive wear on the suspension of the trailer, it also prematurely wears out tires. It will also cause vibration to everything attached to and riding in what's attached to the trailer. ever pass a semi on the hi-way and hear that plump, plump, plump noise... that's tire bounce. By balancing the tires on a machine it will also indicate if the tire is out of round, which does happen also...

You all can do what you want, but my tires will be balanced and they will be trailer radial tires. I pull trailers every day at work , for 20+ years, I know what works and what dont work. 2 land scape trailers , 1 enclosed tool trailer, and 3 boat trailers.

Balancing will help the life of tire and trailer if they bounce to much better safe than sorry.

Balance the tires. Use radials. Keeps from vibrating all my rods, reels, gear and giving them a smoother ride as well as the boat.
