This is very informative, and quite useful! The analysis is definitely above my pay grade!

Anyone with Google Docs, I have consolidated the charts that Cane Pole provided. You should be able to print it on one sheet. Just follow the link below. Let me know if you notice any discrepancies and I'll make changes as needed.

The purpose of this adventure was to use minimum line out for ease of turning while pulling crankbaits. I didn't particularly like 100 foot reel ins for a 6 inch fish and the turn radius pulling without weights. With 3 different size weights and 30 feet I can cover most depth scenarios that I use.
This is for me, Ima just sharing.
Thanks for the input.

How much line did you have out of the water?
Thanks to you "CanePole", "BillBob" and your new neighbor for putting the time
and effort into such a time consuming task! You deserve much more than an
"Attaboy"! Keep up the great work & I luv your posts. Thanx again!

Thanks for the info. Do you use weight on all poles? Does it interfere with catch ratio?
He's not actually "fishing" when testing these crank depths.
But, to your questions (my opinions):
weight on all poles - not necessarily, but w/o weights you would have to let out many more feet of line to get the crank down to the same depths.
interfere with catch ratio - with a 3-5ft leader between the weight & crank, there doesn't seem to be any negative factor to the presence of the weight.
