It's raining. I can't go fishing until it passes. I hope I can last that long I feel a serious case of land sickness coming on
I went with my unnamed guide again today. He easily earned an AAA rating today. We caught fish most everywhere we went. We fished a lot of new water and easily doubled our number of known brush piles. He still just lurks around on here so I won’t reveal his secret identity until he does so himself. For now I will refer to him as the Lone Stranger . He again caught the largest and most crappie.
He also assisted me in researching a new sonar unit for my boat. Finely settled on a Garmin 93sv. My billfold is in excruciating pain. I did get a good deal but I am cheap by nature so the experience left me needing professional counseling.
We didn’t keep any so no pics today.
The Lone Stranger guided me again today. He provided such a good trip that I almost felt bad about not paying him for several seconds. . Fishing was good as always. Kept 26 and returned at least that many that were easily legal.

We did not fish today. I spent the day installing my new Garmin 93SV. The Lone Stranger built an elevated base for me to mount it on. Thanks Stranger. I have not decided if I am going to paint the base yet. It would look good painted black but then again it's natural aluminum matches the aluminum on the trolling motor base. It's always difficult to skip a fishing day but sometimes sacrifices have to be made.

I usually don’t fish on weekends but the Lone Stranger mildly suggested we go and I nearly injured myself while attempting to not show to much enthusiasm. We caught 69 and kept 22. The Lone Stranger informed me that he was the best guide on the lake. I had to agree but then again I was in his boat and didn’t really have a choice.
