    I use 1/2 to 1oz, depending on speed and depth. Under 12' -1/2oz. I also use slip corks for the light bites. They work great, but make sure you get the right size bobber. If bobber does anything out of norm, pick up the pole. A move, quiver or lay on its side. You have a bite.

    3/4 for jigs, 3 oz for pushing cranks.

    That's the problem with these "poll" threads ... they don't put a ending date on them, they run for awhile, & then sneak off into the back pages and are forgotten until someone (new??) finds them and posts to them and they end up back on the front page.

    I think I'll see if Slab can put a time limit on Polls ... say, 1 month max !!

    I use 1oz for most of my fishing with jigs. 2-3oz for crankin!
