    Default Barkley 6-18-18 Pico hammers!

Took a buddy and his friend to Barkley today for their 1st taste of crankbait crappie at its best. Jack owns Ky Lake Outdoors at Calvert City and Don works for him. Neither had ran cranks for crappie (or catfish).Name: IMG_1684.jpg

We started in 88.5 degree water at 6am. The bite was on immediately.
We had several doubles and one time had 4 great keepers hooked on PICOs and netted at the same time. The logistics of that were something for new learners.

We kept at it and eventually got #39&40 in the net together. I figure the new converts will have a great sales pitch for selling PICOs.

1st order is on its way. Mitch and Jack talked while we were fishing.

Nice catch and post. Looks like a case of "where the lure caught both the fish and the fishermen." lol
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

That blows my mind...very impressive. Those crappie look healthy, that's a good thing!
