WOW.welcome back needing some recipes.anything blue has been a killer here on our clear lakes.
Usually I'm a solid type of guy but went with a semi transparent combo here. Pretty simple or at least compared to what I usually do, lol. Only 2 colorants and that's it. Slap on a chartreuse head and load up on em.
Tail:
4 oz medium hard easy stretch
25 drops LureWorks fluorescent orange
Body:
4 oz medium hard easy stretch
15 drops LureWorks flippin blue

Liking this flippin blue. Could cut it back to get less of a deep blue.

Can see putting a little glitter in it for a little sparkle/flash.

Oh yeah the blue/orange is as basic as it gets but needed some basic in my box though. Looked in it the other day and didn't have a single black/chartreuse bait to my name! Couldn't believe it. Now I do.
This here is something new for me. Bought some Chartreuse powder colorant. Not too pleased. Was a nightmare for me to get mixed and still never really got it all mixed plus I can get my liquid colorant DrNip chartreuse recipe brighter. Anyhoo recipe is as follows:
Tail:1/2 tsp chartreuse powder
4 oz medium hard easy stretch
Body:
4 oz medium hard easy stretch
8 drops LureWorks black

My rendition of fired okra. Hate to say but mine looks cleaner and clearer. Probably a better plastic used is why. I used to never use duller looking baits back in the day as I thought brighter was better but since then learned that this is a foolish mistake. This color can catch some crappie. Recipe is as follows:
Tail:
4 oz medium hard easy stretch
4 drops X2 green watermelon
1/4 tsp .04 black flake
Body:
4 oz medium hard easy stretch
5 drops X2 pumpkin seed
1/4 tsp .04 black flake
Wow,Very Nice,Would be a killer on our Lakes

Nice work Dr. Nip. Really thinking about the stretch. Got 5 gallons M-F medium not to long ago. Sure looks clear and shinny! Any issues ?
