I found this for sale. $400. I bet someone could cut it in half and weld the back end and shorten it up and remove that metal seat. Bingo! Wish I knew how to weld.
I like it John

I got lucky the other day and found an 8’ Jon boat for $50. It’s light enough I can carry it myself and fits perfectly in the bed of my truck. I bought it to use in my pond at the house but figured it’s perfect for double duty for single polling in the spring

Speck, you'll love that thing. That's what mine is 8'9", and it fits nicely in my pickup. I can't close the tailgate because of a toolbox but I strap it in and it rides fine. I live here on Enid and built the trailer to pull behind my four-wheeler and can get to the backwater pretty much anywhere I want to right now. No way, I'd pull my trailer down the road.
