Great day yesterday on Gibson....get up in the creeks...water temp is 54 deg. I caught about 40 under 10" and these 15 keepers.

I was in 7-8 fow catching them at 5' below a small float. I was using Mayfly Bobby Garland Baby shad. The water was about 2' visibility. I would have been using a darker color in the murky waters. I have been hearing of good number in the creeks where the water temps are in the low to mid 50's. The warmer the better. Find the shad and small minnows and there will be crappie.
Mayfly color bobby garlands?
Yes, Mayfly BG baby shad....I also caught a couple on Monkey Milk but the bite was slower so I went back to Mayfly.
I bought some of those mayfly BGs, but haven't used them yet. Will give them a shot tomorrow at CB for sure (Good Lord willing and the water don't rise).

I was back in flat rock creek past the old railroad bridge. You will find schools on side image and just follow where they go...I have been hearing that Chouteau, Brushy & Pryor creeks are doing well also.

Thanks QUIG69!
I wont be in the boat, so it'll be more of a challenge, but we're gonna try and get it done!
