Spring has come to NE Fl with daytime temps in the 70-80's. On the intracostal waterway the water temps are ranging from 65 to 68 in the area that I fished south of St. Augustine. Trout and redfish are biting on both artificial and live bait. Best bet bait for a large red is a live finger mullet fished on the bottom next to a dock with deep water.
This video is from a trip I took last weekend where I met 15 of my friends at the Butler ramp. This area has lots of excellent structure like oyster bars, docks, grass shorelines and creeks.

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"Viking1 thanked you for this post

I have vacationed many times in St. Augustine . Has a special place in my heart. On the wall by me are three framed photographs from area by a local artist there, and a complete shell with tail of a horseshoe crab I dug out of the sand on Anastasia park beach. Have a little sand saved too. Retiring there has been discussed....but it may be out of our reach now. Cheers.

Nice day for sure. Those Gheenoe rallies can draw a nice crowd, especially the long weekend ones.
