Nice job! It looks like you have the rods "bent" sitting in their storage racks. If you leave it outside with heat the rods may memorize the bend if you are not careful. I would undo the tie down where they bend and let them sit straight until you actually leave to go fishing.

Yessir I just tied them down for the picture. I leave them loose when it’s just sitting in the garage. Didn’t figure it would hurt too much for them to be bent just on the way to the lake. The rod holders are mounted into the t-rail on the boat, and due to clearance issues with the trolling motor them being bent like that was about my only option without having rods sticking out 4-5 feet behind the boat.

It is pretty handy. Set my coffee cup or bottle of water in one, and nibbles, pliers, etc in the other.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I’m proud of it for sure. Have bought, fixed up and flipped 3 boats to be able to afford this one. Got lucky and found the powerdrive with iPilot on over 50% off on closeout when Gander was going out of business last year. I’m hoping to upgrade to a Helix 7 depthfinder as soon as funds allow.
Thanks crappie flash thanked you for this post
