Looking good
I decided to try whole crappie in my air fryer. It came out very good & crispy. My wife was delighted with the taste and no smell from grease frying. I am still experimenting with the coating. I can't wait to try bluegills. They should be wonderful. Here is recipe-
Mix 1 egg wit a little milk for dip.
Mix a cup of Shake and Bake chicken mix- extra crispy with a cup of Panko Dip
fish and shake lightly with coating. And spray with Pam olive oil both sides.
I cooked these for 20minutes at 400degrees. They were 10" crappie- add more time for heaver fish.
These were scaled and skin left on. You know they are cooked when they at crispy.
Try it, you will like it. It's really great to wake up, without the house smelling like fried fish.

Yep love them tails I got to get back to trying fish in mine.
My wife got a deal on some tilapia fillets. I was hesitant to sacrifice crappie fillets until I was sure we wouldn’t ruin them in our air fryer.
I used “G”’s guidelines. I mixed my normal cornmeal/ Cajun seasoning/ black pepper breading and rolled the fillets in it then lightly sprayed both sides with Pam spray. We cooked the fillets for 15 minutes at 390 degrees.
The fish was great and I won’t worry about ruining crappie fillets. Everything we have cooked in ours has come out very good.

Calling fishing a hobby is like calling brain surgery a job.
What brand air fryer do you have? What is the diameter of the grill in it?
