I saw it here on CDC, drill one hole in the bottom of the bucket, use your air nozzle to put a burst of air in that hole.
Pops right off!

Going into a lake would recommend biodegradable vegetable oils or shortening for non stick and the air nozzle. Works like a charm each and every time. In this age of high technology the simplest tricks still work well . Happy New Year to you all !
kylakelover, what kind of bamboo is that?
How long will bamboo last?
I use the concrete blocks with a little quikrete ,I have made them ten ft. tall, works great as long as the bottom surface of lake is flat.i've known it to last for 3 yrs.even after the leaves fall off you still have a small stake bed.my wife and I dropped one back in the summer,i was curious to see how quick it attracted fish.we went back to it about 30 minutes later and caught 2 nice slabs off of it.
GOD loves fishermen, the earth is 75% water
I have heard that cane tops can be repulsive to crappie. I have never caught great numbers of fish off cane that I have put out. I have caught some good ones though. What kind of experience do others have?
