Every BnM rod, I've ever dropped over the side floated. I assumed that all BnM rods floated. I need to check and see if my Capps and Coleman float.

Yesterday was our 1st time spider rigging. overall it went a lot better than planned. Started off with four 10' BGJP's. The first 30 minutes, needless to say, was a cluster. After that all went pretty well. After getting in to our groove we decided to put out a couple more smaller rods. This is when this happens. Brand new Abu Garcia.

Ouch! That can get expensive, really quick!
I've sunk 4 poles over the years ... Caught all 4 ...
*Double minnow rigged 6ft baitcaster
*5ft dock shootin rod
*14ft spider rig rod
*7ft catfish rod
Pitch a marker buoy out immediately ...!!!
Then get out the double treble heavy blade bait and start dragging ...

I just lost a Sam Heaton 12 ft. Bout 70.00 bucks,
Mine blew out of boat, getting older aint no fun.
Forgot to tie it down!!
You might could have put on a heavy weight and trebble hook if you had it and dragged it across the bottom. Your marker had it located.
I feel your loss!

Waypoint would have worked if you had that option
