So sorry for your loss Ed. You were kind enough to reply to me in my time of dealing with this not so long ago. I sure hate seeing your post about your loss. Pita or not Ringo was a handsome dog.

Sorry for you and your wife's loss of a best friend. Sometimes best friend's(human or canine) can be a Pita but that is what makes them special.

We all feel the pain with you. I am in that place now with my Pomeranian the real (bigdawgg). He is wobbly, deaf, blind in one eye and don't even lift a leg any more. He is 14 years old and grumpy as all get out. He has been a pain to through the years also.
I hope you'll get another soon. Sorry for your loss!

So sorry, almost the same story with my dog, 15yrs old and had to put down a couple of months ago. We decided, no more pets.

Never say "no more pets", at least that's how I think. As you can tell, we still have Abbey and two of her puppies. One of those puppies is my daughters which we are watching for a while, maybe longer! lol

That's Ringo behind the dog in the front (Max). One of his better days.

One of Ringo's last days. He started walking on his elbows. And would fall down pretty much every time he pee'd or pooped, or ate for that matter. They said he had brain lesions and could not feel his legs, and he was loosing his balance bad too. It was time. RIP Ringo.

Sorry Ed, but that stuff is just hard as all get out to do! I die a little every time we have had a dog a long time and then have to put them down. The ones that hurt most for me are the ones that have some kind of special attitude and sprit. I have had a good many in my line, but that are several that still stand out for me. It is what it is, putting down a good friend and that hurts!

Man, I hate that....I always thought Ringo was cool, and just a little misunderstood..I loved the way he would get you to run after him...He was just making sure you would get your exercise !!! Only another dog person could truly know how you feel...I truly understand...RIP Ringo....

Sorry Ed. We have been thru it several times ourselves. More painful every time it seems. But we will never be without one in our lives.
