Thread: Ever need a break from crappie fishing?

    I fish 90% of the time targeting crappie but as others have said, if it bites my jig my intent is to cross it's eyes.. I love to catch shellcracker, bluegill and white bass when they are willing. As others also mentioned, you never know what crappie rigs will catch. My PB largemouth came earlier this year on 6lb mono and a beetle spin. (7lb 7oz)

    I am an avid UL angler that is a multi species fisherman. Crappie happen to be on that list.

    That's a nice bass! I don't think my PB largie is over 5lbs. Then again, its hard to find really big bass in the northern Midwest.

    Nice bull red my friend, if I lived closer I would be chasing reds instead of going to work. They are a great fish to eat and they pull like a truck.

    Ya I love any kind of saltwater fishing I hate to say it but if I lived close to the ocean I probably wouldn't make much time for crappie fishing
