Thanks. Let me work out some kinks then maybe we can really catch some crappie on them.

John asked me to talk about pulling cranks but
    1. I was already in the presence of some of my crankbait mentors and heroes.
    2. I was totally unprepared even though many of my KY friends would argue that I'm NEVER at a loss for words.
    3. I wasn't there to fish even though my Excel was there and most of my tackle and all my boards were in KY.

Let's see where we're at in preparation for next years event. A cabin full of us are already planning to be there. If you guys still feel the same way then, we'll talk about it.

I don't troll cranks but spent a lot of time throwing cranks both billed and lipless in watersheds and farm ponds growing up. Crappie always seemed to prefer the lipless or even jerkbaits to standard cranks, always wondered if any of you guys that trolled messed with the lipless baits much.

Austin, you can see from G's pic above that they will hit lipless. I run rattletraps a lot when I'm pushing cranks or power trolling. I like to mix them in with the roadrunners and curlytails. I don't run them pulling since I can't control the depth they run.
