Thread: What is your favorite fry mix or breading

Tony's Cajun Seasoning, Yellow Corn Meal, A little bit of flour, salt n pepper. My folks like it that way!

Anything with a little Cajun heat in the meal is fine with me, but was brought up on cornmeal with a tad of flour, salt and pepper, and that was it.

We tried this last night, it was awesome. The fish get brown quick and taste great. We used Drakes mix.

Try Larry the cable guy batter. We get it for $1 a box. You'll love it!

Catch specs.
Clean specs.
All purpose flour, Martha Whites buttermilk corn muffin mix, red pepper and lawerys.
Once in a while cracker crumbs added.
Dip in milk or half and half, then bread.
Invite family or neighbors.
Fry.

Serve with spiced pintos or grits and eggs.
Smile.
Repeat.

Rule #1
Never use wheat flour on fish(golden rule)
40% Corn meal
10% Corn Masa
Tony C(More Spice)
Pink Salt/SeaSalt
50/50 Lard and Coconut oil
Fresh lemon for the final slobber
NEVER USE a fork(much like wheat flour)
