Geez Louise, I've already gained 5 pounds just reading about all the food being brought to camp! Lol, but ya know I love it! Yum Yum, I can't wait! Lol
Too bad the Chatt man from KS won't be there to enjoy some of it! Lol

Yeah! Enough with the food - we can probably feed the whole camp for a week as of now. We need to be talking how to catch Skiatook Crappie!

So what is everyone's attack plan at Skiatook, minnows, jigs, or both. About what depth do you think they will be at? Never been to Skiatook but hopefully we all find us a honey hole.

“I would try pitching a cork on main lake rocky banks. Usually I set my jig deeper on Skiatook than Kaw or Eufaula. I will try to fish it sometime this week and give you a better report.”
“Bull Creek area should be good. I have sunk a lot of brush in there if you can't find any on the banks. Big Hominy Creek would be my choice if there's not a lot of current”

“ I had great success fishing at 12:01am (last night) using dead minnows dipped in Griffin Apricot preserves (MIO). The Crappie didn’t care for the strawberry or grape. Also tried night crawlers and crickets dipped in all three kind of preserves … had poor luck. Fished mainly in 20 - 30 feet of water with 30# test braid. Largest Crappie was 4lbs - 18 oz. Best 7 fish weighed 18 .12 lbs (I think I’ll start fishing tournaments or go pro.” CHD
