Welcome, a lot of the guys are getting together on Nelly Henry next week. You should go and meet up with them.

Welcome to the board!! I started the same way as a bank fisherman from Madison. The big G has a number of good bridges to fish during the spawn. All the bridges along HWY 79, N. Sauty bridge off HWY 72 near Scotsboro, Rockhouse pump station off of Greenbrier Rd near Madison, City park dock at Scottsboro, Belefonte access road bridge east of Scottsboro, Honeycomb under HWY 431, Brown's Creek under HWY 69 in Guntersville. The HWY 31 bridge before the marina in Decatur and the big bridge. Also down along the Guntersville dam tail race both the Arab side and the Guntersville side. All these will be loaded up from time to time with crappie. Many limits caught by the guys off the bank.

Spring Fish camp next week would be a great place to meet a lot of the guys on the board and get to know that lake as well. Number of folks have seats available to fish that weekend.

Hey thanks again to everyone for the info! It will be really helpful. I can make it down to Neeley Henry next weekend. It will only be for Saturday though due to other plans on Sunday. Where should I go to meet up with people early Saturday morning?

Check out Madison County lake it's county maintained and they stock it they have a small bait store there that has minnows and crickets. Small $3 permit to fish and boats with trolling motors allowed and available to rent. Not very deep it ranges from 0ft to 30ft at the dam end. People catching some Crappys there now. Stocked Trout seems to be over. I've seen some nice Catfish stringers come out of there.
