Thread: lil nasty

Howdy all, I tried the gigs today with the Lil Nastys, I really like them. We caught close to thirty short fish only had 5 keepers but broke off a 15 to 16 incher trying to get the net. The bite is really light need a line you can see, it would quit sinking, line goes slack or just a weight on the line. the only bites you could feel were 8 to 9 in. and I did miss some of these I guess they were fighting over the jig. hit hard but just to fast. I also found an other link for the hooks at Barlows tackle(just google them) Thanks all for responding!

do-it molds has Black or red $47.49 per 1000 or $4.74 per 100. Look at Barlow's tackle I believe they have the straight shank for Minnow fishing also Hope I was right. I looked at alot of places.

What is the official Eagle Claw name and part number for the Lil' Nasty hooks? I've scoured the Eagle Claw website and downloaded their catalog - still can't find them.

Captain Hook's and Barlow's show these as 500 series #'s.

I have used the little nastys for a while now and really can't complain there pretty good. The wide gaps help with hookups.

I was just about to pull the trigger on an order from Captain Hook's, then I noticed that it said 2-4 week delivery. Can this be right???

Do you know of another supplier that delivers quicker?

I sent an inquiry to Captain Hook's. They said they usually ship on the same day of the order. The 2-4wks is apparently there because they get swamped on holidays.

Whew! Just sent them some cha-ching...
