Fish were biting on the bank a couple days ago. I'm sure this chill will send them back out now though.
Do they let them fall or how do the fish them?

STUPID COLD FRONT! However, I saw my first buzzard of the year yesterday. This makes me think that after this little chilly spell is over, we're home free.
They were dropping them down on top of the brush and then bringing them up real slow. Come up slow about 6" stop small twitch and then up some more. They would pull the line with there hand holding the rod still. Once they would raise the spoons about 2 feet then drop it down and mover over few feet and start over. It was slow but steady.
Thanks Skeeter, I guess I'll try those spoons.
this weekend was a bust for me. They had lock jaw. That front shut em down for me.
Been quiet on the grand thread. I caught 15 slabs on Sunday but it took from noon till dark. Then went again yesterday and only caught a couple. All were 17-20 buried in the brush both days. Water temp 60 so I'm not sure what's up. Tried the bank but couldn't find them. I will stay after them. The eggs are still 3-4 weeks away on the fish I caught, but the males are starting to get some color finally. Mid lake

Ever since that cold front moved in, the bank has been empty. No idea what the deal is. Shad are popping EVERYWHERE in the evenings though.
I'm not sure what is going on where I am at grand (mid lake) I can't catch anything but a few 9 inchers. I think in the past week I've not caught 5 keepers! I've tried on the bank and deep. Nothing... I am blaming all these fronts, but man it's been tough for me.
