Got my self inflate all the time.... Hardly know it's on.... Wish they were not so expensive I think more people would have and wear them. Thanks for the post and reminder John.

Only got to go over once and have it work correctly.

(I have been dumped 5 times past 8 years - Rough weather - other boats wake - reaching to far with net, wave action)
    (Balance problem at times)

Easy to spend $27 for refill than $12,000 for casket -

West Marine has a PFD on sale. I have never seen one at this low price. Not necessarily the best, but it's an inflatable PFD

Corrected a lot of problem - got a more stable boat............"big 0" makes a lot of difference, also each day things get
a little better since have 3 major operations in 1 year - (triple by-pass - femoral & spine surgery) effects if being put
to sleep to deaden various spinal nerve endings doesn't help either.
Aging also is contributing factor Ms Linda ( 76 vs 26)

    Harold
If I remember right one of those times you didn't even have a PFD on. I also remember one inflating in your storage locker. I should insist that you wear it. Also know where a very good net is, not far from a fish attractor.
    Wear your PFD!!!!!

Ronnie you have a excellent memory: Did retrieve the rod/reel combo but lost the $100 nwt. & did win the
tournament. Times have changed since then -
Life changed for me when Mike Benjamin & myself saved John Young & Enoch Harris when their boat overturned on
West Lake Toho in high winds/waves. (John's eyes had rolled back in head and lips were blue - had lost his body stregth
and was point he coldn't hang on any more.) Enoch was on top of overturned boat - arms/legs spread out trying to hold
onto John's hand to keep him from going under.
Bottom line -everything came out GOOD in end - other than boat basically was lost as well as a lot of fishing equipment
