Some folks use more than enough concrete to sink Bamboo. If I can I add rocks and just enough concrete to hold Bamboo. Make them too heavy and it just makes it hard to handle besides wasting concrete.
Those look good.

I really like to fond the old heavy blocks from old torn down houses, the new ones are cinder blocks called light weight .

They are different types of bamboo here in Mississippi where I live. I was going to try to find the different names for it but they are 10,000 different species. Well anyway we have what we call river cane (canebrake) it gets no higher than 20' tall and 1" in diameter. This is the one that people here always made homemade fishing poles with and is good for making fish habitat. Then there is and I don't know what species bamboo and I am talking about big bamboo. It gets over 30' tall and 3"-4" in diameter. My daughter has some in her backyard and it can be a nuisance. With its larger diameter it is way harder to sink than the smaller cane. Well a few years ago I tried to use the big bamboo for habitat. A friend of mine and me put a bunch in a 5 gallon bucket and filled the bucket half full of concrete. This stuff looked good we had several pieces in the bucket and it was about 20' tall and about 11/2"-2" diameter. We were going to sink it in 25' -30' water the deepest that we have in our lake. Well we finally got it out there and to our surprise a half of bucket of concrete would not sink it. There we were and people that was watching us still laugh about us with our floating habitat. Well anyway we hauled it back home and finished filling the bucket with concrete and sank it later. So it will always be best to put a little extra weight or take a little weight just in case. If we had only had 1 cinder block it would not have been so much extra work. I am still having people walk up to me and ask are you not one of the men out at the reservoir that had the floating fish habitat. I didn't know that many people were watching. Take a friend and wear your pfd it won't take but one second for 20# of weight to take you to the bottom of the lake. Well everyone be safe when dropping habitat.
Be safe and good luck fishing
I don't want to take a trip to the bottom with a Boo Bucket.

I have caught countless 2lb Crappie off of bamboo tops just like yours. They take effort to gather the materials and put out on the lake but they will definitely produce Crapie over time.
I built 10' tall & 60lbs of Quickrete. Three in a triangle to an area and add one additional top every other year to hold new Shad. I have places I have maintained for over 10 years that still produce limits on a regular basis.
To me, if you go on 2 or 3 trips and don't catch any fish, you could have used that time to create your own habitat.
Then you will have a place to catch fish for years to come.
Wow, awesome! Good job. That hard work will surely pay you back later!
