Enid does good by the volunteers, hope they have a good turnout. Think they give an aluminum boat away as well.

I'm going to go, just got the 4 wheeler loaded in the back of the truck just in case. Going to pull the boat to, figure I can cover more ground putting in a McCurdy and going out by water. Bring the chest waders as well. Not bringing any material I'm planning on using what they provide.

That was what the officers with the Corp told me out at Arkabutla couple weeks back, said Enid had a lot of sponsors and people who endorse the lake. Wonder why that is? Cause that big old record white crappie was caught out of there?

There is a lot of support around Enid, Cossar has the "Friends of Cossar" group. They just seem to be interested in activities around the lake, I don't think any of the campgrounds close down during the winter.

Won't know until 7 am, guess you could call today and find out.
Last year I worked with others on the west side of Bean creek, from the upper boat ramp upstream. Another crew was working the ramp area at Cossar. When we finished we went to other areas where not as many people were. I went to Dew creek.
If an area up the lake will have material like Longbranch, Water Valley Landing/Billy's creek I'll go there.

Try to wear something with a CDC logo on it so we can identify each other..I will be in a maroon F-150 with a Gadsden flag tag on the front.

Wear, bring clothes to keep you warm, bring an ATV if you like, helmet required, gloves and a big hammer if you like.

Thanks, I need to order some CDC gear for sure... don't have any yet... if I can come to Enid I drive a charcoal gray Yukon with a custom punisher thin blue line tag on the front! Thanks for the advice and hope to see y'all at one or the other or both! Haha

Last year we had aluminum wire to tie mats, pliers with cutter will help. They had lots of post drivers.
We'll be in the bottoms so bring a good pair of boots.
My white GMC will have bamboo hanging out the tailgate and I'll have my CDC cap.

Joel, they don't usually drop habitat from boats. Mostly dress up the flats with mats for shallow water later. Dropping some trees around some timbers wouldn't be bad.
