Yeah give it to the Dawgg and let him do it
I've got one of my 2 pic rods that I can't pull apart. I've warmed it up, poured water on/ down the shaft and still can't pull it apart. Any ideas on what will work?
WD-40??? I only have two tools, WD-40 and duct tape!
I've had some luck with 3 in one oil. But it's only 50-50, if you can turn it tip down and put on inside part or vice versa if bottom is outside part. just want the oil to get into the joint. But if its an older one and the graphite is loose you may now have a one piece rod. good luck

get you a pair of rubber gloves for grip !!! get a small bag of ice and put on the ferrel where the rod joins together let the ice set on it for 5 to 10 minutes to get it good and cold then see if you can twist it apart !!!

Iwas afraid the wd40 would make it slippery and wouldn't stay together. I think I'll try ice first
Try Heating the joint with a candle, this is the way I got my old cane rods apart when I was rebuilding them. Something about the candle smoke helps, can't remember the reason but it worked

Get you a can of Deep Creep. Most parts houses have it. Works better than any other spray lube we have at the shop.Spray it in the joint and let it sit bout 10 minutes. You got a 2 piece rod again.
