Thread: Lost My Mind!

Well got to a point with some of the motor stuff and said heck with it and called my mechanic to help speed things up. He worked on it and got me in good shape. cleaned carbs, mounted and hooked up controls, new water pump and lower unit seal and water separator for a really good price. i just got the trolling motor on yesterday. put bench in today. new seats ordered for the bench. Be ready for sea trials in the next couple days.









still got rod holders, depth finders to rig on boat after sea trials. then some fishing and then a little later, will spend some time shining her up.

Oh no! Looks like NWR bash will be seeing the crappie machine in action. The crappie will be shaking in there boots. You got the fear of lead poison on them woodsgoats. All kidding aside Ed will be nice to see you and such a beautiful boat again on the water. I know what it's like. Had to rebuild a trailer my self.

Got it in for sea trials today. Jumped right up on top and ran like a scalded dog. Just as fast as the smaller older hull! Don't let anyone tell You a 115 won't push a 20' bass boat. It won't break speed record but will get the job done until I can put more ponies on the back.

Had a couple small leaks in the livewell plumbing. Forgot to put silicone on the livewell pump hose barb elbows the screw onto the pumps. took an hour to get a gallon of water. Got to test the bilge pump from that though. It worked like a champ.





Been a long time coming!

Talked to an old fella today at the ramp that just finished going through overhauling his third boat. I told him he had lost his dang mind!CF

Just realized I am only 4 days short of the two year anniversary of buying this boat. I thought it had been longer than that. Been 2 years and 2 and a half months since I have been crappie fishing.CF
