Why is your line getting tangled ? I use these all the time and have not had any problem.

Gene you need enough weight to unwind it......remember it has counter weights in the floats to keep the wind from unwinding it.....you have to have enough weight to unwind it and overcome those counter weights. Then you need enough weight to stay down on the bottom good to hold the marker in place.

Thanks for sharing your idea. Had everything I needed in my garage. Made 3 (a little larger) this afternoon. Gonna try them hopefully Tuesday.
